On Nov. 23, DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. was chosen as Best Partner Company for 2020 by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation.  

Each year, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation(MCO) chooses its Best Partner companies from among major domestic and foreign partners (about 100 companies) that accomplish great performance in price reduction, delivery time shortening and important project fulfillment. 

DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. was chosen as the final “Best Partner Company” in recognition of its efforts and capabilities shown in this year’s TPSK/Long Son &Linde/Amur Project, having been strongly recommended by hands-on MCO workers. 

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation holds presentation meetings with chosen partner companies each year, but they were replaced this year by video meetings due to the COVID-19.

DongHwa Entec CEO Kim Dong-kun receives commendation for Meritorious People in Childcare 2020

Last August, the government identified key players in the development of the childcare business and presented them with the Meritorious People in Childcare awards 2020 in appreciation of their service. 

The awards were granted as an opportunity to have childcare workers come together for the development of childcare service. 

The awards are given to businesses that have contributed to establishment and revitalization of childcare policies, related to installation of workplace childcare facilities and their exemplary operations; and to individuals and groups that have made significant contributions to the childcare business. 

They are supposed to be recommended by the Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service. 

In recognition of his meritorious service for healthy growth and development of infants and childcare business development, CEO Kim Dong-kun of DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. received the commendation for Meritorious People in Childcare 2020 on Friday Dec. 18. 

DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. constructed and promoted a joint workplace daycare center to take the lead in expanding employment infrastructure and resolve the problem of career discontinuation of female workers, through a consortium of 12 companies, and is operating the center as a representative company. 

It is also resolving problems through communication with companies, organizations and parents after identifying internal and external difficulties of the joint workplace daycare center. 

Further, the company revitalized use of annual leave and created an environment for work life balance through flexible work arrangements and leaving work on time. 

This contributed to increasing the number of years of continuous service by female workers by implementing the motherhood protection system, including female lounge, maternity leave, and leave before and after childbirth, thus improving the quality of life of workers and their job satisfaction. 

Hence, the company received a letter of appreciation for the joint workplace daycare center from Busan City in 2017 and was chosen as the Best Work Life Balance company in 2018 and the Best Family-Friendly company in 2019. 

DongHwa Entec will not stop just at contributing to childcare service development.
