DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. has implemented an “Appreciation Sharing” campaign through the harmony of labor and management, including the launch of an Appreciation Sharing newspaper with a donation of two million KRW for distribution to the underprivileged. 

The Appreciation Sharing newspaper conducted a plaque presentation ceremony at Hwajeon factory of DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd., for which the KBS TV program “Companion” team visited the company for a brain wave test and interview with our executives and employees. 

The brain wave test comprises Mind In Analysis to check brain fatigue, concentration level and psychology, to identify if a person has a grateful mind in normal times and how effectively the mind can work through one minute’s focusing on the things for which we are most thankful.

During the interview, DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. said they had begun the “Appreciation Sharing” campaign because they felt a need to overcome inner discontent by identifying what they were most thankful for, and expressing their thanks in fulfilling their responsibility through voluntary service for underprivileged as a social enterprise.

Honorary Chairman Kim Kang-hee of DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. said, “Compliments brought me warmth and I have a lot to thank my employees for. 

I felt their mindset and action change when I expressed my gratitude to them and I know that our company can become a sustainably happy workplace.

(2) Scholarship Sponsoring 

Donghwa Entec Co., Ltd. has been sponsoring the Korea Science Academy for the ten years from 2011, with an annual educational research fund of 10 million KRW, including scholarships and a development fund for improvement of the school environment. 

School personnel of the Korea Science Academy, parents and students visited Hwajeon factory of DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. on Feb. 4, 2021 and expressed their gratitude to Honorary Chairman Kim Kang-hee and CEO Kim Dong-kun. 

CEO Kim Dong-kun stated, “Companies need to analyze what social responsibility is required and take interest in people in order to discover better methods of contribution to the entire society.
