On Mar. 25(Thu), 2021, DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. held its 40th Annual Shareholders’ Meeting (ASM) in the main conference room on 3F Hwajeon factory, where shareholders gathered to decide upon important issues on the company agenda at 3 p.m. 

Air purification was ensured in advance, inside and outside the venue, and the designated seating arrangement was planned according to the government’s social distancing guidelines.

Priority was given to shareholders’ convenience and prevention of COVID-19 with an entry list, thermal imaging camera, hand sanitizer and masks available at entry. 

DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. holds the ASM every year to present the financial statements and other documents, within 90 days from the settling the accounts. 

It also involves election of officers and approval of limitations on remuneration, including the size of dividends. 

This year’s ASM, attended by CEO Kim Dong-kun(Chairman), company directors and external shareholders, proceeded in the order of reporting of shares by shareholders present, Chairman’s greeting, audit and business reporting. 

Matters for resolution - Agenda No. 1 Approval of the 40thfinancial statements, No. 2 Election of directors, and No. 3 Approval of limitations on remuneration of directors (including auditors) – were discussed and all resolutions were passed according to the agenda. 

Notably, the ASM appears to be evolving into a platform for direct communication between the company and shareholders as the more active communication gained significant attention. 

CEO Kim Dong-kun said, “Last year was the year we did our best in the areas of sales, profit and net profit growth, despite the difficult business environment. 

We will seek to raise the company’s value further to make 2021 a year of continued growth through the advanced sustainable management system, technical development and collaboration.“
