On Apr. 6, DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. and Hyundai Global Service held an agreement ceremony for collaboration on eco-friendly remodeling business in the main office of Hyundai Global Service located in Haeundae-gu, Busan.
The agreement defined the responsibilities and obligations for the collaboration to expand market share based on synergy, mutual respect and faith.
Donghwa Entec Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Dong-kun) and Hyundai Global Service (CEO Lee Gi-dong) have commenced mutual cooperation in the eco-friendly remodelling business sector for GHG(greenhouse gas) reduction, with the agreement lasting a year from the date of signing and automatically extending every year with confirmation from both companies.
The scope of collaboration includes VFD Solution(Pump, Pan&Air Compressor), FGSS Retrofit(with BOG Compressor), EGR Cooler/WTS for Main Engine, Steam Operation Improvement, Urea(Ammonia) Supply System for SCR, Air lubrication System supply, Air Compressor replacement, mutual education on new equipment technology changes, joint business on new construction/repair of overseas shipyards, utilization of Hyundai Global Service’s overseas warehouses and expansion of parts business, all of which can be changed with a written agreement.
DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. agreed to offer competitive prices, delivery and outstanding quality products for expasion of the eco-friendly remodeling business, while Hyundai Global Service will manage customer sales and PR through its domestic and overseas sales networks.
Further, both companies agreed to share maintenance/repair or operation manuals, including inspection of Hyundai Global Service’s LNG Service Package development related parts and their maintenance and repair cycles; the relevant code books for ordering replacement parts, parts No. on parts assembly drawings and guidelines.
Executive Director Yun Byeong-nak of Hyundai Global Service said, “With a plan to strengthen our Gas Solution business division, Hyundai Global Service will expand its investment in the digital control field in the future. We also plan to provide a total solution encompassing shipyards, equipment companies and engineering.”
DongHwa Entec CEO Kim Dong-kun stated, “Let’s do our best such that both companies can grow together as partners in the market.” Before the signing, the two parties visited Hyundai Global Service’s Digital Center, which provides an integrated smart ship environment and Life Time Care Service.
The center is currently under contract with about 300 ships, among which 106 are in service.
It provides analysis services for operation and equipment performance with freight warehouse status and safety management information.
