On Dec. 26, 2019 amid fierce competition from world-class engineering companies, DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. signed a contract for HP&LP FGSS to be installed in a 110,000-ton class COT(Crude Oil Tanker) built by NTS (Jiangsu New Generation Shipbuilding LLC). 

The DH-FGSS was successfully shipped on Jul. 5. The COT that receives DongHwa Entec’s DH-FGSS is the first LFS(LNG Fueled Ship) designed and built by NTS. 

Despite substantial difficulty conducting business consultation with the shipyard, and inspection, due to the sudden outbreak of COVID-19, the unwavering efforts made by each person involved in the first DH-FGSS TOTAL PACKAGE project allowed on-time delivery, to the customer’s great satisfaction. 

DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. will take this opportunity to prove its DH-FGSS technology through its advanced capabilities refined in the Korean market, regarding LNG related heat exchangers and system engineering products in the Chinese market also by delivering DH-FGSS for NTS 110K COT to the shipowner after supplying it to the shipyard and directly carrying out commissioning and gas trial.
