“Green & Offshore Korea 2022” was held at the main BEXCO building, Busan from Oct. 12 (Wed) to 14 (Fri).
This year’s exhibition, under the slogan Energy Transition from Oil to Green Renewable Energy, was hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Busan City, and jointly organized by the Busan Marine Equipment Association, the Korea Offshore & Shipbuilding Association, the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), BEXCO and Kyungyon Exhibition Corp. The exhibition, the 6th since its debut in 2021 as Korea’s only offshore plant-specialized exhibition, provides opportunities to promote the localization of offshore plant equipment and market expansion. Starting this year, the exhibition has been enlarged and reorganized into its current “Green Offshore Korea” format by adding a “Green” concept to symbolize eco-friendliness. The 400 exhibition booths hosted 153 corporate participants from 11 countries, as well as Busan’s top companies, including DongHwa Entec, Kumyang Innovation, Sunbo Industries and PANASIA, plus Korea’s three large shipbuilders, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, and Samsung Heavy Industries.
DongHwa Entec, in particular, tried to address in depth a concrete roadmap for carbon reduction technology innovation and the development of the eco-friendly ocean energy sector. With unwavering competiveness in its line of products, from shipbuilding, onshore plants and cryogenic (LNG) heat exchangers to FGSS and BOG reliquefaction equipment, the company took advantage of this exhibition to reveal its future vision and ESC management strategies regarding the eco-friendly energy sector. The company also introduced the H2 Pre-Cooler, which has shown tangible results with a 70~80% market share in the Korean hydrogen energy application area, as well as its LNG Vaporizer, chosen as a world first-class and eco-friendly Eco care U1 product with the advantage of saving cost, time, and space. It also conducted a seminar on its products and technology.
Further, DongHwa Entec’s exhibition booth (F105) provided an opportunity for visitors to discover its affiliate’s, DongHwa Pneutec, compressors and N2 Generator. A shipment of 100 units of DongHwa Pneutec’s BOG compressors is scheduled for the end of this year.
DongHwa Entec is about to take a giant leap as the best company with its lineup of engineering technology in the eco-friendly sector through heat exchangers and compressors and will participate in the “Smart & Green Energy Maritime Korea 2022” event to be held at the Changwon Exhibition Convention Center from Dec. 5 (Mon) to 7 (Wed). Here visitors will have a chance to discover the company’s technology and future vision.
