A heat exchanger that collects steam and condensed water used for sealing in a steam turbine, forming a vacuum, and making steam discharge easy.
In a steam turbine, the high temperature and the steam pressure rotates a turbine, and the turbine turns the heat energy into motion energy. To prevent steam within the steam turbine from leaking air or to prevent external air from getting in, a seal steam system is necessary. The gland condenser is the heat exchange that collects steam and condensed water within the seal system, forming a vacuum, and making steam discharge into the condenser.
